Roberto Batista, "Silencio"
This Saturday 3rd of March 2012 at 19:00 hours, Ars Septem gallery officially opens it’s doors. This initiative, located in Hermigua, begins with the exhibit “Silencio” (Silence) from the artist Roberto Batista (http://www.zacariasrobertobatista.com/).
We traslate here a quote from the Gallery website explaining their aim:
Ars Septem Gallery is born in La Gomera with 3 main goals:
To settle a platform from where local creators can publish their work; to take the art to the local public through a continuous cultural activities program and to create a forum for the dialogue between local artists and visitors.
Our biggest wish is to approach art and culture to everybody, to increase art collecting at a small scale and broadcast local art production.
To help achieve these, we have financing programmes, and we work in the proyect Club A7, a collectors club that facilitates the acquisition of works to their associates and offers very advantageous conditions.
The culture sphere is in a constant transformation process, and that is why in Ars Septem Gallery the opinion of our clients and artist are taken into account. We invite you to visit us and let us know your proposals and ideas.
We also invite everybody, visitors and locals, to include this gallery in their schedule, and to visit this novelty innitiative of young gomeran artists.
