Quality and Environment Policy

Trujillo Gámez SL is a local company dedicated to the lodging sector since 1975 with the apartaments Los Telares in Hermigua. We are pionners in the north of La Gomera, hosting the first tourists that arrived to the area. Our objective is to offer a quality lodging with an affordable price, and receiving our guests friendly. The Apartments Los Telares are located in Hermigua Main Road, 10. We feel close to the town of Hermigua and the island of La Gomera, and we understand our service as a way to shop the hospitality value that is part of the gomeran identity.

In our aim to increase the quality of the lodging service provided to our guests and to improve our environmental behaviour, we have established a Integrated Management System in Quality and Environment (IMS) according to International Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and European EMAS. We are also commited to comply with each of it's requirements.

The management is aware of the effort it involves, and assumes the challenge as a mean to unite the different departments in order to offer a continuous improvement of the services provided, with respect to the Environment and thinking of the principles that rule sustainable development in every area.

In consequence we, Apartments Los Telares, have asumed the agreement from where the following considerations are brought:

• To make as much broadcast as possible among our providers and clientele of the principles applied in our company regarding Quality and Environment, inviting them to participate in our policy.
• To use the systems adequate to assess the eficacy of the IMS, favoring the quality of processes and services, minimizing their environmental impact.
• To comply with legislation in force, both current and future, in matters of Environmental behaviour, as well as any other requirement affecting our services and those that the company attaches.
• To unify efforts to train our workforce, so that in every moment they respond favorably to the requirements of the IMS, stimulating their participation and implication.
• To prevent all the actions and behaviours that might affect the environment, using every means at our disposal.

With these principles we will establish a series of objectives and goals that allow us to apply a continuous improvement in every area of our company, correcting the possible incidents that might occur, and learning from these to avoid them in the future.

• We will continuously review the quality of the provided services both to our guests and other parties as a mean to improve public relations and increase our effectiveness and efficiency, as well as the achievement of the requirements of our guests and the laws and rules applicable.
• We will analise and assess the participation of our workers, allowing them to actively collaborate through the increasing of communication and advise seeking.
• We will review and update this policy when the company progresses or if circumstances or law so requires.

To achieve the prior we, Apartments Los Telares, will use every means available, as to guarantee the achievement of the settled goals. Only so we will obtain an adequate growth, sustained in the satisfaction of our clientele and the respect for the Environment.
